For GP or ANP appointments and home visits, please use AskMyGP (for those without internet access, you can still call the surgery and hold to speak to a receptionist, they will take your information and forward this to the appropriate clinician).
For all other types of appointment, such as for annual reviews, blood tests, injections, or to see a Practice Nurse or Health Care Assistant, you need to call the surgery to book this.
Evening Clinic - Extended Access Service
Extended Access appointments are for routine appointments only and not for urgent care. This service is provided by clinicians including GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Please note, the extended access is not a walk-in service – you still need to make a pre- booked appointment. Appointments can be made by submitting a request via Askmygp or by contacting reception on 01427 613158.
Extended hours appointments are available Monday-Friday, 6:30-8pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am-12pm.
This extended service is also open to other surgeries including Caskgate Street Surgery, Hibaldstow and the two surgeries in Saxilby.
When you’re feeling ill or anxious the worry of trying to get through to your GP surgery can be the last straw.
Our new service, askmyGP, now means that you can request help from your practice when, where and how it suits you. Enjoy feeling more in control as you ask for help securely from your smartphone, tablets or computer. Bookmark the link in your browser so you don’t forget. You can contact the practice by telephone and your request will be sent to the clinician who will contact you that day where you will managed by telephone or invited in that day to see the clinician.
What is askmyGP?
It’s our online service where you can seek help from a clinician. The information you give us means the clinicians are better informed and can help you with your problem quicker.

Please be aware home visits are for patients who are unable to leave the house. For home visit requests please contact us using Ask My GP. When you submit a request with Ask My GP you can put on request that you would like a home visit. We will then get in touch.
Cancellations & Reminders
Cancel an Appointment
It is important that you inform the reception staff if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.
You can also complete our appointment cancellation notification request form. This can only be used if your appointment has been arranged for more than 24 hours in advance. (excluding weekends and public holidays). You can also text to cancel your appointment.
Text Reminder Service
We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.
To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.
Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.
Late For Your Appointment
Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day-except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.
If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the receptionist and she will arrange this for you.
